Eric Lefkofsky is the owner and Chief Executive Officer of Tempus, a technology firm that advances precision medicine by practically applying artificial intelligence in healthcare. Tempus has developed a technology to fight cancer. The healthcare expert and American billionaire Eric Lefkofsky explains that it aims to offer doctors learning tools while collecting more data to help every patient benefit from the earlier ones.

Tempus has a molecular and clinical library and an operating system that makes the data useful and easily accessible. It helps physicians make real-time and data-driven decisions to deliver personalized patient care, enhancing development, discovery, and optimal therapeutics delivery. Eric Lefkofsky co-founded Lightbank, a company that invests in disruptive technology businesses, and an investor at Uptake Technologies, a leading company in predictive analytics. 

He co-founded Mediaocean, an integrated provider of media procurement technology. In addition, he has co-founded Echo Global Logistics, an outsourcing company in technology-enabled transport, and InnerWorkings, a promotional solution and managed print provider. Eric Lefkofsky launched the Lefkofsky Family Foundation in 2006. Lefkofsky Family Foundation is a private charity foundation.

It aims at advancing high-impact initiatives that can positively impact the people it serves. Eric Lefkofsky is a trustee at the Chicago Institute of Arts, Science and Industry Museum, World Business Chicago, Chicago Lurie Children’s Hospital. In addition, he is the Chicago Steppenwolf Theater company’s Board of Trustees Chairman. Eric Lefkofsky is the Accelerated Disruption’s author and a Chicago University professor. He was a student at Michigan University and earned a Juris Doctor from Michigan University’s School of Law.
