Who is Edensilo Rossi Arnaldi?
Edensilo Rossi Arnaldi is a Brazilian-born businessman and is the founder and President of Sial Engenharia, a construction firm based in Curitiba. On July 27, 1962, he was born into one of the Sumaré’s pioneer families. He is also an author, having published several books.
career
Even though Arnaldi’s professional career started as a clerk at Banco Bradesco, his strongest and main interest was a professional career in the construction industry. In his late teens, Edensilo moved to Maringá, a city just below Sumaré. There he worked in the accountancy division of a construction company before changing jobs and moving with an engineer in sanitation. In this way, his career in Construction started.
With time, he managed to buy a small construction company in the 90s, giving rise to Sial Construções Civis, which he later changed to Sial Engenharia, as it is known today. During this period, Arnaldi expanded his business and moved to Cascavel, a city in Paraná far below Paranavaí and Maringá.
In 2000, Arnaldi was elected president of the Civil Construction Industry Union West of Paraná, acting for two years. From 2003 to 2004, Arnaldi was elected to chair the State Chamber of Civil Construction, based in the capital of Curitiba. In 2004, he also ventured into farming cultivating soy and corn.
Edenilso Rossi Arnaldi’s company, Sial Engenharia, grew to become part of the list of large companies in the construction sector. His company was already executing work in the major cities of Brazil; Paraná, Santa Catarina, São Paulo, and Rio de Janeiro.
Arnaldi also had political ambitions. In 2012 and 2013, he served as a State Treasurer of the Social Democratic Party (PSD) in Paraná. In 2018, he vied for Federal Deputy of the State of Parana, where he garnered nearly 35,000 votes. He lost the seat and remained a substitute of the federal chamber.
