Kelcy Warren is the founder and chairman of Energy Transfer Partners and Sunoco Logistics Partners.

Kelcy L. Warren is a billionaire businessman who is the founder and chairman of Energy Transfer Partners and Sunoco Logistics Partners.

According to Forbes, Kelcy Warren is also an investor in various companies, including commodity trading and storage company Koch Industries. In 2010, Warren donated $100 million to fund student scholarships at his alma mater, Texas Christian University (TCU).

Warren also sits on the board of Koch Industries (KMI), an oil refining conglomerate that owns pipelines and other assets like paper mills and manufacturing plants.

Kelcy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from Tulane University in 1984; he later obtained an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1986.

Kelcy Warren is worth more than $3 billion, making him one of the wealthiest individuals in America.

In 2012, Warren donated $100 million to fund scholarships for students at his alma mater Texas Christian University (TCU), which he attended from 1971–1978 before getting an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1980. In 2016 he gave another $50 million for scholarships for minority students at TCU.

In addition to his wealth, Kelcy L. Warren has made significant donations to several political campaigns throughout his career, including those for former President Barack Obama, Justin Trudeau (Prime Minister) of Canada, and Donald Trump during his campaign for the presidency in 2016.

Kelcy Warren is also the chairman and CEO of Warren Resources Corporation, a commodities and energy company headquartered in Dallas.

As a graduate of Tulane University, he has been involved in many different business areas. He lives with his wife, Allyson, in Dallas, where they have four children. She also works as an investment banker for Goldman Sachs & Co., Incorporated (NYSE: GS). Kelcy Warren has served on the board of trustees at Southern Methodist University since 1996.
