Randy Douthit

Randy DouthitRandy Douthit, a co-founder of the company W3i and the founder and president of JotForm, is an American entrepreneur who has been living in Silicon Valley for nearly 30 years. He enjoys a reputation as one of the most successful entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley. Douthit is also known for his strong work ethic, which he attributes to growing up on a farm in Texas where hard work was demanded and respected.

Randy Douthit first started learning about computers when he was seven years old. As Randy grew up, his passion for computers grew stronger until completing projects focused on programming became the driving force in his life at age 18.

In 1995, Randy co-founded W3i. They were a leading software developer for the United States Navy’s F-14 fighter planes. The company had tremendous success and was eventually acquired by Oracle, who paid Randy millions of dollars for his share in W3i. After the sale of the company, he decided to use the money to start his own Internet business, JotForm. Under his leadership, JotForm has grown from a small startup with only a few employees to one of the top online services in its field.

Douthit has been involved with several other companies as an advisor or board member, including OneID, Inc., FormKeep, Inc. and Mycom. He also serves as a San Francisco Chamber of Commerce board member.

Douthit has also been involved in several causes. His main charitable cause is supporting education in technology, which is important because it will create power and development worldwide, ultimately creating peace and prosperity for all people.

He is currently more active on business-related projects than development-related projects. As stated above, Randy Douthit is a co-founder and the president of JotForm. In 2004, Douthit started working for Hewlett-Packard as Global Marketing Director for the Advanced Technology Group. In 2005, he decided to follow his dream of starting his own Internet business by creating JotForm.
