Randy DouthitRandy Douthit is a television producer that has been in the industry for years and has worked on many hit TV shows. He was born in 1970 and grew up in Illinois, USA.

Douthit began his career with a role as an Associate Producer on “The West Wing”. He then transitioned to Executive Producer of “Lipstick Jungle”, before moving into production for “One Tree Hill”. In 2008, he became an Executive Producer for “Privileged”, a show centered on a college sorority. He was also behind the short-lived reality show “Hyde Park on Hudson”, a story about the real life and times of Franklin D. Roosevelt.

In 2011, Douthit made his way to the HBO network with another reality show called “Game of Thrones”. The series is about noble families fighting for control over their mythical lands. Douthit is most known for his work on “Game of Thrones” but he has also worked on many other series such as “Southland”, “The Glades” and “The Black Donnellys”.

Douthit is an active member of the Television Producers Guild, American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, and the Directors Guild of America. He is a member of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.

Douthit has been married to his wife since 1992, they have two children together. He is a big fan of the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears. He is also a keen golfer, he has been to many of the PGA Championships as a producer and was at the 2004 Masters Tournament.

Randy Douthit won two Golden Globes for his work on “The West Wing”. He was nominated for an Emmy for his work on “Lipstick Jungle”. He has won two Screen Actors Guild Awards, one for Best Drama Series in 2011 and another in 2013. He has been nominated for 23 Emmy awards.
