The Entertainer- Randy Douthit

Randy DouthitRandy Douthit first saw television when he was four years old at his grandparents’ home. A delivery truck passed, and it drooped a huge package which turned out to be a television. When his grandfather switched it on, Randy noted that the bulbs when on, and that is when he knew he wanted to control the switching on and off of the television screen. Randy did not hesitate to make his dreams come true. His grandparents allowed him to explore and make his passion a reality. They gave Randy a space to make his movies.

Randy Douthit began selling movie tickets when he was only nine years old. When his peers and friends were playing children’s games, Douthit sold movie tickets using his bicycle. E was through with his high school education and joined college to pursue his dream course. At 23, Randy got an opportunity to work at Portland’s KGW. It was at Portland’s KWG that Randy got to build his career in the media and the entertainment industry. He was the director of an award-winning children’s program, Peabody How Come, which was also among the programs he directed at the media company. Randy did not only direct programs, but he was also a presenter at Portland’s KWG. He hosted a morning show, Capital Gang and CrossFire.

Randy Douthit noted that he has been passionate about the media industry since he was young. He later started making movies. Randy was lucky to meet the retired Judith Sheindlin, a family court judge. Then, Randy and Judy began the direction and production of Judge Judy. Judge Judy is considered one of the most extensive Television programs of the time. Millions of people watch the program across the world. Randy has had a love for news since he was a young boy. However, Randy noted that television news has changed since the ’80s. Randy Douthit has been in the entertainment and media industry for an extended period and has positively impacted the industry.

Randy Douthit Randy’s work in the industry has not gone unnoticed. He was won several awards, including Emmy Award for Judge Judy, which he has won three times. Douthit has not stopped the production and directing of films and movies.
