To start out, Raffaele Riva is the founder and CEO of Aurea Multi-Family Group which is a company that handles residential building renovation, maintenance and reconstruction in Italy. He has been dealing in this field for over 10 years now.

Born in Genoa on October 17th, 1977, Raffaele Riva initially studied law at university but then instead decided to study architecture. In 1998 he enrolled at the University of Genoa where he graduated with a degree in architecture three years later. After graduating from university, he became a partner of Studio Architetti Associati with his father who was also an architect up until their partnership dissolved around 2004. Following this, Raffaele Riva decided to start up his own company in 2005 and hence Aurea Multi-Family Group was formed. The company was started near the university so that Riva could still be close to his college friends and colleagues.

Raffaele Riva’s done some interesting renovations into old apartment buildings which he says has been a successful venture from the beginning stages of the project because of its low cost and quality materials used. Along with friend Stefano Pedrizzetti, who is also an architect, Raffaele Riva also completed a Baroque building in Genoa that underwent a complete transformation from its original state into an apartment building which would serve as a residential structure for students at the University of Genoa.

Riva’s other projects include two residential buildings in Porto Viro, a seaside resort town located in the province of Rovigo, Italy. One of the buildings is a former hotel and was renovated into a residential structure by Aurea Multi-Family Group while the other structure was an old warehouse. Riva worked as an architect on this project along with Enrico Marchetti and Stefano Pedrizzetti who both work at Studio Aldo Rossi in Genoa where they remodel historical buildings.
