Freedom of religion was one of the most important rights the United States Constitution granted to citizens. It means that government officials cannot prohibit or restrict a given religion from practice in any way, shape, or form. And it also means that governments cannot impose a state-sponsored religion on their citizens. Alliance Defending Freedom reports, “Religious freedom is the first freedom of the First Amendment. It is a foundation for all other freedoms. The US is a country that has numerous social issues. But its stance on religion and freedom has caused many to look to other countries for potential solutions. The US is one of the only countries that claim to be a beacon of liberty and democracy. Still, human rights concerns must be addressed if we hope to continue being a beacon for those who may want to proclaim their religious freedom in America. Parental Rights

Parental rights are the cornerstone of society because they teach children how to become free individuals. Children should be free from government interference in their lives, and the only way for them to live with those freedoms is if their parents provide that for them.
