Supporting Nurses-Health Carousel
In May 2022, the world celebrated International Nurses Day and the Year of the Nurse Educator. During this day, the Health Carousel also made a significant announcement in the medical industry. The healthcare organization is listed among the top firms in the United States that offer the best medical education. Health Carousel announced it would invest over $200,000 to fund nurses’ education in America and overseas. Even though the investment may seem multi-international, it only signifies a small share of the programs organized by Light the Way, an arm of the medical company. The Light the Way program is responsible for hiring and sustaining nurses in the country.
The name Light the Way was adopted by Florence Nightingale, the creator of modern nursing. Florence was nicknamed the lady with the lamp. Ms. Nightingale was known for walking during the night and caring for the wounded soldiers using a lamp. Since the program’s creation in 2004, Health Carousel has maintained the Light the Way initiative. The administration has ensured that all the nurses’ recruitment and hiring are done through the group. Light the Way is thrilled to publicize the continuation and the expansion of its services abroad on the International Nurses in 2022.
Light the Way Nurses Support
In the United States of America, Light the Way is funded to provide scholarships for nurses. The organization is planning to recognize those nurses who wish to continue with post-graduate and graduate nursing degrees. The group’s management discusses how to award scholarships and the best colleges to offer education for nurses. Chamberlain University is among the best-named and offers quality nursing education in the United States. Light the Way initiative, which works under Health Carousel, has already planned for the program abroad; for instance, in Uganda, the funds will be used to construct and equip a medical lab with the support of the Uganda Nurse and Midwives Union. While in the Philippines, those pursuing their Ph.D. in nursing and medical studies will be supported by the program.
